Assistant
A trusted active player who is knowledgeable about feather64 and willing to help.
Purpose
Assistants help players navigate feather64 — with a focus on the new player experience and server knowledge — and have a seat at the table for staff discussions.
- Answer questions in chat and in the Discord #ask-a-question channel — proactively, not just when asked directly.
- Help orient new players; correct misinformation in chat when you see it.
- Participate in staff channel discussions about server changes and decisions.
Requirements
- Age. At least 16 years old.
- Tenure. Played feather64 for several months and intends to keep playing.
- Knowledge. Familiar enough with feather64's tips, commands, and quirks to answer new-player questions.
- Community. Active in-game and on Discord, playing as part of the community rather than in isolation.
- Welcoming. Treats new players as members of the community, not as easy targets for raiding, tricking, or PVP.
- Respectful. No slurs or excessive harassment.
Rules
- No trickery. No insiding, fake alliances, or TP tricking. No player should feel tricked by an assistant.
- No role advantage. Staff access should have no impact on any competitive opportunity to raid, grief, or PVP.
- No directions. Don't give players directions. Only mods and admins can direct players.
Commands
/tip <tip> <player> | Show a detailed tip to a specific player. |
/broadcast <tip> | Broadcast a short tip to all online players. |
/sc <message> | Staff-only private chat. |
/warp ass | Teleport to the assistant room. |
Perks
- Blue name Visible in-game and on Discord — easy for new players to spot.
- Extra homes A higher home cap than the donor max of 5, set with
/sethome <name>. - Blue item names Color any item name blue by prefixing it with
<ass>in an anvil.
